His jury trial experience far exceeds that of most lawyers in our community.

Tom has had a number of successful jury verdicts on serious charges, including homicide, rape, felony drugs (in federal court) and a third strike charge. While Tom has focused much of his legal career litigating criminal cases, he has also built a strong reputation in Bellingham for his work on personal injury claims. Tom's vast litigation and trial experience serves his personal injury clients well. He is skilled at negotiating a favorable settlement, but when an insurance company fails to make a full offer, Tom will not hesitate to take the claim to a jury.
